I've been driving around for a little less than a year with 35" tires and 3.21 gears, 6 speed manual, and I find I could live with it if I had to. Around town it is a 3 speed, and never needed 6th. Gas mileage sucks though. 14 mpg. Have taken it offroad couple times and it worked. That being said, I'm trying to figure out if I can regear this year or wait until next. Thinking hard about 5.13's

They are not that light. Lighter than most 35's? A bit, but not much. I remember being told they are approx 8lbs lighter than KM2's..

Just out of curiousity, I looked up the specs for the Duratracs and the KM2s..both 315 75 16

Duratrac 64lbs
KM2s 64lbs

A little misleading though, the Duratracs in that size are load range E...The KM2s are load range D

The load rating has the most to do with the weight of the tire, best to find the lightest load rating that will fit your needs if looking to keep weight down.

I have the 35 inch KM2's. I went with aluminum black rock rims to keep weight down in Addition to this " light" 35 tire. I have 3.21 2 door 6 speed. Didn't notice much difference on daily hwy commute but just got them so not sure on the offroad performance yet.
