Default 35s on 3.73 auto?

Planning on having a second set of tires for off road use only. With this ratio. How adversely it may affect spinning for clearing mud and power on rock climbing? Planning to off set effects using tranny tune from superchips.

Any info or experience is appreciated!.

You will be fine offroad, it's on the street where 35s will kill you, assuming you are running 2011 or older.

Also had this setup on my 4 door JK, (I have an '08 auto) the money you spend re-gearing should pay itself in a year or two! Plus..it wont reverse on semi steep slopes! In 4x4 4Lo the forward motion is also affected, I kinda have to fully stomp on the pedal to get over ledges. In the end, I finally went with Yukon 5.13 gears and timkin bearings/overhaul kit.

My experience is for the most part you will be fine offroad. The biggest difference will be in rock crawling, you won't be able to crawl as much, letting the engine pull you without using the gas pedal. To keep the rig from taking off, use the brake and the gas at the same time in crawling situations.

But its all doable.

On the streets, with my Superchips performance was reasonable - but much happier since the regear
