35s or 37s
Hey total newbie question here.....I have a 4.5" AEV lift 5.13 gears (with an auto). I need new tires in the next couple months. I'm running 35x12.5 17 ProComp extremes now and considering 37s. I comute to work 8 miles every 3rd day but do travel on the highway on the weekends. Am I going to hate 37s?

Actually, it's not that bad. I would love to regear but it's not on the top of my list.
Plug some numbers into the rpm chart in the drivetrain faq's to get an idea.
Assuming a 36" actual height:
Auto, 5.13, 36" = 2313 rpm @ 70
--- auto jk's have a .69 OD
2313 / .69 = 3352 rpm @ 70 w/OD Off (or a downshift to 3rd)
Lighter tires would be better than heavier, and 5.38's would be a better choice for OD rpm's, but it won't be horrible.

Hey man!! I use the Bfgoodrich at in 37" flavor and love them. Awesome road manners and only about 66lbs. Do run little smaller than say a mtr or Toyo but to the naked eye not much difference. Hope this helps. Stay safe bro!
