Default 35s or 37s on Dana 30?

I have a 2013 JKU sport with the d30 front axle. I'm trying to decide between 35's on a rock krawler 2.5 or 37's on a rock krawler 3.5. I know that for 37s I need sleeves and gussets but I don't want to regear yet or upgrade major axle parts. Anyone running 37s on the d30?

If you don't want to regear with 37s or do major axle parts , I guess that kinda takes 37s off the list

I'd go with 2.5" and 35's and save up/ build for 37's. Don't need the 3.5" Rockcrawler For 37's.

I'd go with 2.5 and 35s but it depends on if you plan on wheeling it.. If your not doing anything to crazy you could probably get away with truss and gussets if you want the 37s

Anyone know if I could eventually fit 37's on the rock krawler 2.5? I'm thinking about just starting with 35s and upgrade the axles for 37s later.

If you're not wheeling it and it's a daily driver I'd definitely stick with 35's but that's just my 2 cents.

All of the options you give are horrible. If you want 37s, your going to have to pay for them.. And that's going to include upgrades on your axle.. And even with 35s, gussets should be done at a minimum, and I always recommended a truss(ARTEC ftw).

Also, you can make 37s work on a 2.5 inch lift, but your going to have to chop those fenders up, and possibly do some pinch seam cutting

Just put on heavy 35 toyo m/t's and getting gussets done before i wheel. Kept my gears at 4.88 and not 5.13 for a lil more strength. Super 44 is in the works for next year or later. Do whats needed and upgrade later. Stick with 35s. They wheel just fine and chopping fenders. Make it your own!
