Default 35s going on! What do i do with auto trans??

So I have my 35s going on with heavy 20 inch rims and a EMU 2.5 inch lift.

I Got a 4 door unlimited. Automatic. Use hard and soft. With the original spare on the back.

Question is. Do I gotta reprogram the tranny, engine, computer Whatever else.
Any tips would be great. Thanks!

The biggest question is , what gears do you have , I have 4.10's , running the same setup , except I have a 4" lift , its ok with the 4.10

Look at the Superchips Flashpaq to correct for the new tire size and tune the ECU. Lots of threads on this. Search.

if you have a rubicon, you have 4.10 gears. if you have an x, sport or sahara, you most likely have 3.73 gears unless you have an 07, in which case, you may still have 4.10. worst case scenario, you have 3.21's. regardless of what you have, you will want to calibrate your speedo if for no other reason than the fact that it will help keep your shift points to where they need to be. i too would recommend something like a superchips flashpaq as it will also allow you to tune your engine, read dtc codes and turn things off like your tpms but, an aev procal will allow you to so some of that too and for less.

Nothing. You'll be fine. Only consider a regear if you're running moderate to heavy off roading often. Been running 80lb Toyo 35s for almost 2 months with an auto, stock 3.73 gearing and a 2.5" lift with no problems and only a slight drop in acceleration. MPG sits down around 14.5 though. I'll get a superchip eventually.

Default 4.10 on 09 Sahara

I will get 35" next month, and hoping superchips will be available for 2011 Jk's by that time
