My wheels and tires came in before my lift, and of course I had to get them on, just to see. They fit, as long as you could put up with them rubbing on the front bumper while backing up. I should say that I got rid of that plastic "air dam", and all associated steel. The tires would have hit that for sure. I have since installed the springs and it is nice. I've got adjustable front upper control arms on the way, to adjust my caster. It shakes alot if i'm going under 15 mph and hit the right bump. So to make a long story short, not without at least a 2" lift up front, and zero interest in using your JK for what it was intended.

Are you running 2.5" (coils only) or 4.5" (coils and spacers) with the 35's?

What did it look like with the spacers and the 285's? Any pics of that?

I bought my 2dr Sahara today and I am ready to start ordering....So is safe to say I could run 35's with a 2inch econo lift, and wheel spacers? I am planning on removing the side steps, and I can see where the body is going to have to be trimmed a tad in the rear. I should add this vehicle is going to be a for crusing around town, and will not go offroad.

it works, i installed 35's friday, and then promptly removed them.

You'll rub turning, not to mention bottom the tires out on the body in the back.

Thanks for the input. I figured it would rub during extreme turning but that's fine. My TJ rubbed with 32's and no lift, and it didn't bother me. By chance did you get any pics before you removed them? Look good in your opinion?

it looked like a hotwheels jeep.

The turning radious is about like a limo or a big semi, its just not pratical.
Any slight bump, and its going to rub just about anywhere around the tire.
I wouldnt want to drive anywhere with the jeep,

I did take some pictures, I dont have access to them right now.

&^*&**$@^%#.... that's not what I wanted to hear. Sounds like you just cost me some more money I guess there is no point in having something that is ridiculous to drive though

if you could post those pics when you get a chance that would great.

thanks again for your input.

Piginajeep...I see you're in Columbiana. Were you at 4WD Hardware on Friday? I saw a non-lifted 2dr rescue green X with Pro-Comp wheels and 35's being photographed when I was leaving the place. I stopped to talk to a guy standing nearby to inquire on the tire size. It looked like it would rub bad going over a curb.

I was in my silver Rubicon Unlimited.

That wheel/tire combo would look sweet on a lifted Jeep.

Was that you? Just curious....
