Default 35s with nothing else?

ok--i've seen a bunch of threads about putting 35s on with no lift, but they cut fenders, added wheel spacers & other stuff---

i'd like to run GY Duratracs 315/75/16s on my unlimited sport untill spring when i put my lift on. i'd love to get new tires on before winter.

is ANYONE running 315/75/16 with NO HELP?? just bolt 'em on?

i'm not gonna wheel till i put my lift on..can i stuff 'em in there?
thanks
steve

In that bunch of threads you read, did you actually notice 'why' they are cutting fenders and adding spacers? Because 35's will RUB!!!! without them.

If you don't care about rubbing, then go for it...

I would recommend cutting your fenders. I ran 295/70/16's (34's) with no lift, and had to go slow over dips on paved roads, or I got a nice sound of my tires eating the fenders.

what he said, there is a reason for all that you read and it all revolves around rubbing.

I have 3" OME spring lift on 35" Pro Comp tires and still rub the fenders.

Wouldn't expect much without some additional clearance.

Default Blah blah

Im running 35's with no lift and stock wheels. Youll need to trim the stupid air dam "wings". If you plan on using stock wheels, it will rub when you make sharp turns. Open the turns up a liitle bit and youre fine. Other than that no rubbing. Im sure it would rub if you took it wheeling, but if you plan on staying on street during the winter, youll be fine.
I dont plan on putting a lift on at all, until i go to 37s. Then i'll only put a small one on to keep my COG down.
