Default 35's question

How big of a lift do I need to fit 35's?? 3", 4"?? What lift is the cheapest lift with the best quality ride?? I was looking a Rough Country or Superlift, any feedback is always helpful.

I HAVE A RUSTYS 3 1/4'' AND M.O.R.E 1'' BODY LIFT ON 35'' TIRES . I THINK RUSTYS IS ONE OF THE CHEAPEST AND THE NICEST.

The FAQ recommends 3", but there are some other factors that come into play, such as the droop your shocks provide, how heavy your bumper/winch are etc... I've got standard Full Traction 3" coils (not HD), but with my steel bumper, winch and aftermarket shocks (which provide more droop than stock), my 35's rub the front fenders pretty hard when I articulate. On the flip side, when I was running the 35's with the Tera 2.5" BB with the stock shocks and extenders, I didn't rub at all.

So, if you plan on aftermarket bumpers, a winch and new shocks, I'd recommend 4" or 3" and spacers or a body lift.

x2, my wife is running a rustys 3.25 with 315x75 r16 on a 16x10 wheel, with the rim combo she has some rubbing but not that bad, i tried to talk her into 16x8 but she likes the way 16x10s look, and she only will do moderate offroading, so no worries...
