Default 35's on stock

How far can I drive with 35 x 12.5 KM2's on stock suspension? My wheels are here, and I can go to Costco and get the tires tomorrow, but they won't remount the stock wheels without the TPM's (that would be in the new set of wheels). I'm thinking just drive to Wal-mart, right next door to swap the stock wheels back on, until the lift shows up. That way, the wheels and tires are ready for the lift.

....You might Rub in quite a few places. In the front on the sway bar and the air dam and in the back on the rocker rail, front portion of the rear fender and maybe on the rear control arms.

If you must just drive home, make sure you're as light as possible. so get all the junk out, no people except you, and a 1/4 tank or less.

Be patient grasshopper.

Just get the LIFT FIRST...THEN do the tires.

For all you know,,,the lift will be delayed, you get it, a stupid part you need is missing, or you have to go to a funeral or whatever....these things happen.

The CORRECT order of events, is to prepare the limiting factors first, THEN the non-limiting factors.

So - ONCE you HAVE the lift INSTALLED, THEN, the tires WILL FIT.

If you had a spare transport...you could take the tires off the JK, and BRING them to get the sensor swap, etc...and then WAIT for the lift to be ON.

Otherwise...just wait, and THEN act.

Hell, not near home, just across the parking lot. Just to a place to swap the stock wheels back on. I just don't want to do any damage, for $30 they will put the TPM's in later, but I hate spending more time hanging around Costco.

I just want to run the stock setup without the tpm's until the lift is on. Then I'd have the AEV's and KM2's with tpm's installed and and ready to go. One less trip to tire store.

ive seen it done here before too, but i think i remember pictures of the fenders removed, and almost no clearence between the wheel and the top of the wheel well. If your intention is to just drive it across the parking lot and swap stockers back on you should be ok as long as you avoid speedbumps and such.

Also i dont know how costco is service wise, and if there just ok with performing service (like mounting your wheels) they could have problems mounting the wheels with that tight of a fit and theres more chance of something not being done right

I would suggest waiting for the lift and after thats on then go get your wheels mounted. Plus, once the wheels are mounted it wil suck if u gotta just take them
off, wouldn't you rather wait till its lifted so when u leave costco you can just drive
away in your new beast of a Jeep

I would tend to think that it wouldn't be hard to run 35s with the Xenon flares. That is my plan eventually. Rather than sky the Jeep, maybe put 1" of body lift, Xenons, 35s, and trim the front/rear pinch seam.

The Costco tire guy I had today was cool, and did what I wanted, 35's, AEV's and tpm's installed. Stock wheels and tires back on the jeep...until the 4" FT Ultimate gets here. I can't wait!!!!!!! I have a feeling my better half may have been talking to Shrockworks too, regarding a sweet birthday present.
