Default 37" tires

ok here is the deal i bought a set of 37 x 12.50 17LT goodyear mtr's for $600 bucks. I am wondering what type of size wheels I should go with, i found some on quadratec there is a 17x9 with 5 in of backspacing and a 17x8 with 4.5 in backspacing. I am looking for the one that will make the jeep look wider and not rub.

also what else will i need to do to my 07 JK X to fit these tire. I have a 2" BB and a 2" BL for 4" total. Do you have to cut fendersor anything else?

thanks for the help

Either would do. I'm running 35x12.50R17 on 17x9's w. 5"bs.

Some minor fender trimming may be required with 37s. Some lifts clear them just fine...some lifts don't. In any case, that was a heck of a deal you got on the tires. Congratulations and post some pictures once you get those bad daddies installed!

I have 5" back spacing on my wheels and only a slight flick on the plastic air damn. 4.5" will get rid of an issue like that (if you call it an issue at all) but you have a better chance of rubbing the rear fenders at full flex. If they are painted like the Sahara's are that could be an issue.
