Default 37" tires possible with add on coils

Hello, I have a 2011 jk unlimited sahara with a 3.5 suspension lift. Im running 35" tires now but want to go up to 37". Is this possible by just replacing the coils with larger ones and keeping the stock flares? Thanks for any info.

3.5" of lift should be plenty for 37's, your gearing may not be enough though.

You may get rubbing on the frame at full lock, depending on your wheel back spacing. May folks add wheel spacers to get around this...

You can run 37's with 2.5in lift and flat fenders so your 3.5 should be okay. You will need to run a 3.5-4in of back spacing so you don't hit frame\sway bar and full lock but bringing it out that far you may rub your fenders at full compression. you will either need to go to flat fenders or adjust your bump stops. You will also need to trim pinch seams more in the rear.

I'm running 37's on 2.5" lift and flat fenders. Like the guy above me said, make sure to trim your rear pinch seam, and if you have any rubbing, just add some washers to your steering stops.

With stock control arms and 2014+ model, you do not have to trim anything at all aside from the Rubicon rock rails if you have them.

I use a Rock Krawler 3.5" spring and 1.25" body lift and use bump stops to stop my shock shafts at about 1/2" from full collapse. Disconnected and at full twist, I touch my flares enough to make noise, but not enough to hurt them with 37x13.5 tires. Jeep took care of the cutting on the 14+ unless you push the rear axle back with aftermarket arms.

3" bump in front and 4" in rear.

Yep, but OP doesn't have a 2014+. He has a 2011.

So it sounds like you plan on keeping the factory flares. If that is the case and you plan on using it off road them you may want to look at some 4" springs. That being said, to run 37's you will want to address other things as well.
