37" Tires and PSI

37" on 18" wheels have more sidewall than a 35" on a 17". I wouldn't call the 37/18 combo bad in any way. And when I was pricing things, I priced the STT Pro 37" tires in 17 and in 18 wheel sizes, and the 18" wheel option was cheaper by $30 a tire. Then I came across the wheel at the Columbiana Ohio 4WD store during a sidewalk sale, they were new in the box for 5 at $75 each for 18x9 with 5" backspace. I re-used the 1.5" spacers and got to 3.5" backspace, and that was how it all came to be. I tripped and fell into a bed of roses!

running 26 psi in my cooper stt pros with 17 inch wheels and its not bad considering they are big ass 37s. anything more and its pretty jarring going over bumps/holes in the road. Good choice on tires, best MT I have run and I have ran alot lol.

Hey guys! Just got my jeep back from the shop and had a 4.5 BDS short arm lift with 37x13.50r20 Cooper discoverer stt pro tires and 20x12 wheels. They recomended filling them with 48 psi. The ride was really rough on the way home compared to stock but Ive driven lifted jeeps before and werent as rough. What PSI are you guys running/recommend on the streets?

Its a Jeep not a F-450 dually. Your not towing 8K worth of crap. There is no reason to run that much PSI. Shoot I run 22PSI on the roads all day long. Even when I take long trips I don't air them up at all.

only 8k on the 450? seems like a waste of a 450 to me.... LOL!
