Ok so today I was looking for shits and giggles at 37s on tirebuyer and is there a reason why 37/12.5/17 trail grapplers are more expensive than 37/13.5/17 mud grapplers?

Trail grapplers are for both rock and mud where the mud grapplers are more just mud

If you've ever heard mud grapplers on the road, you'd understand the limited market. Other than being heavy, trail grapplers are a good tire for a DD and do well on the trail. There's a lot of demand for them and hence the price.

Actually, mud grapplers do pretty good on rocks, but they do tend to chunk. The Trail grapplers are probably better all around, and will last longer, but many would be happy with either, if they can stand the noise of the mud grapplers, which are very loud

Ok so how long have your mud graps lasted on the pavement. I was planning on doing the trail graps but obviously seeing the price between the MUDs and trails I got a little curious. I love the hum of tires on the road. So how long do they last in comparison to each other on the pavement
