A big X2 on this.

Not trying to go off topic... but yea, Stanhope house is still there. I haven't been there in awhile but theres a lot of good musicians that swing by.

And x2 to what ryan above said. I would get gussets for your Cs for sure. Im doing the gussets and sleeves real soon.

Thanks for all the replies. They are all very helpful. I am getting the C-gussets, however I am still unsure whether or not to regear. I suppose I will try the 37's with the 3.73's and see how it does. If it's totally unbearable than I will most likely go to 5.13's. Keep the information coming.

I just had this same issue as I was going into the 37" market. If you have a 11' then go 5.13s. If you have a 12' or newer, go 4.88s...I did...best ratio to go with.

I can't imagine running 37s with stock gears. My 08 (auto) struggles up hills with 5:13 s and 35s. I think re gearing is worth it for your transmissions sake even if the opinion is the jeep has enough power with stock gears.

I have 37's with 3.73 and auto trans. Added the superchips programmer and haven't had any real power issues?

Yup, was going to say the same thing...

The chances of axle failure are much higher using a D30 with this setup. This is due to the small R&P gear on a D30.

X2 with what ryan said up above. 5.13s are more likely go blow then 4.88s in a d30. Im going with 4.88s for the extra strength and frankly, anything will be better than the 3.73s I am running.

Ok. So, what I think I may do is for the time being run the 37's on road with the 3.73's. And then in a couple weeks, buy 4.88's. I have a '08 JK 2-door, D30/D44, 3.73's automatic transmission. I am going to be running 37/1250R17. 4.88's or 5.13's? Again, thanks for the replies. Any information is helpful.
