37's pinch seam trimming
I have a RK 2.5 max travel and 37 km2's coming this week. How much trimming am I going to have to do? Can somebody post pictures please? I already trimmed the rock rail and little bit of the seam behind that. The pic is with 35's and no lift. Thanks Bill

Hard to say exactly because it depends on your lift. It looks like you have stock rear LCA's, so moving the axle back isn't an option. I'd say you'd need at least another inch or so. Keeping the rail at the same length or a hair longer than the seam will at least keep the pinch seam from cutting a groove into your tires.
Here's what happens when you mount 37's and don't trim the pinch seam enough. The sound you hear at the beginning of the vid is a Nitto TG getting siped by the seam.

Yeah, you need both to move it back. Just the lowers only allows you to rotate it. You move the axle back and you can start getting into the rear pinch seam behind the tire. I watched this happen to another Jeep running 37" MTR's on that same trail a few months ago.
