Default 37s questions

Hey there guys... I dont know if this topic has been touched on or not, however I was just curious what I would need to fit 37s on a stock 2 Door 2007 JK X sport....

Its not anything special... I know I will need

--re-gear to 5.13s
--Lift the bad boy at least 3"
--with a 2 door needs driveshafts
I have heard I need new axles and splines ??? Is that true

What else would I need?

What do you think of a 4" trailmaster lift with the driveshafts and a set of 37s

It is an opinion, lots of people run stock axles with 37's. But, any strength upgrade is good when going to that big of a tire. C Guessets and Trackbar reinforcement should probably be your first upgrades. Then look at alloy shafts and sleeves and whatever else.

More opinion here. Compare the components that come in the lifts you are looking at to the suggested components listed in the faq's

Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 3" lift?
Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 4" lift?

Decide for yourself if you need anything that is missing from the kit...

The trailmaster 4" lift looks nice for me, however I dont know what the best opinion lift is .... I like that since it does have the drive shafts included.... now for 37s I dont know if I should shoot for 37x12.50 or just stick with a 35x13.50

Here is a couple of pics of our flexjoint kits with 37" tire. The top pic is a 2007 X.

If you're going to run 37" tires and do any wheeling, I would definately put in new axles when you re-gear (we went with Superior's axles).
