3rd Brake Light
Hi Everyone,
I've seen tons of postings on this with not much luck...I recently did an AEV 2.5" lift, AEV bumper & tire carrier with new 35's and LOVE it....however, the person that did the work for me didn't pay much attention to the 3rd brake light and its something that I'd like to replace. The stock wiring still remains and I'd like to re-utilize that if possible. I no longer have the stock light/tire carrier. Does anyone have any suggestions? The AEV 3rd brake light option is not possible since the rims I have do not really have a place to expose the light so it would need to go above the tire, or preferably on the mast of the AEV tire carrier. Thanks in advance everyone for the help and suggestions!

Look at Rock Hard 4x4 3rd break option. It is what I have on my 2010 Wrangler. I like and it works.
You can actually buy the same light at an autoparts store for about 3 bucks and then run the wire yourself. If you do not have wire, buy the kit from Rock Hard as it will end up costing you that much any how. Just remember, on a vehicle, black is ground not hot. I blew a few fuses before I figured that out.
