Default 3rd break light

Hey Guys. I am about to order a AEV rear tire carrier and am going to need a 3rd break light. I figure I could mount it on top of the tire carrier. Is there a really easy one out there to install? I am not good with wiring . Any ideas and pictures would be great.

I just cut the stock carrier to fit behind my bumper mounted carrier. Works fine.

You could always use the teraflex 3rd brake light extension kit. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006D9...&robot_redir=1
I used it with the ace tire carrier. It required some cutting, but it fits tight and does it's job.

If you are getting the AEV carrier why not just get the AEV brake light too? I think it's like 40 bucks. CHML is what it's called I believe

Unfortunately if you break a light, it will not work. Seriously though have you thought of using the lug nut holes for brake lights?

not sure why people are showing diffrent carriers and not the aev like you asked, but you can cut off your factory one and mount it as such, for just a few bucks if not free.

Do you even really need the 3rd brake light?
