Default 4.56 gear help

I want to modify my Rubicon CRD Auto 5 speed with 4.56 gear and 35''. I ordered Superior Axle & Gear 4.56 gear ratio and install kit front and rear from Quadratec, but now they told me the 4.56 Ring and pinion JK Wrangler Dana 44 front is discontinued and they won't send it to me. Are there any other manufacturers that produce it? Do you guys know where i can order it from or do you know anyone who sells it second hand? If i don't find this item the others are useless. Help!

Not positive on this, but from what i hear your only choices are 4.88 and 5.13.......not sure why.

Man, that blows. I've been wanted to go 33's with the 4.56 gears. I think 4.88 would be a bit too much for 33's.

4.88's with 33's is not too much at all. i've run that setup on my TJ and loved it. if you have an auto, the difference really isn't that much and if anything, the extra power boost is nice to have.

x2 4.10's are sufficient for 33's and 4.56's to my understanding aren't much different than the 4.10's. How long do you really think you're gonna be really happy with 33's? 4.88's will give you good power and let you switch up to 35's later in life.

screw it, install 35's and 5.13's.

You know you'll be installing 37's anyhow

I guess the real issues is that he already laid down the cash to have the backs done. Looks like more cash to start over from the beginning. I wish I had an answer for you. Good Luck.

are you sure about that? from what i got out of it, he was told simply that front were no longer available and that's it. either way, i would return the rear gears if that what you got and start over with 4.88's.

I have Rubicon CRD DIESEL not gas, Auto 5 speed not 4, and i want to run 35" not 33"! I ordered 3,5" lift kit, shocks for lift, 5 x 35" MTR tires, 4,56 gear ratio. If 4,56 is no longer available, 4.88 gear ratio for this configuration is too short and i have to change everything ( 37'' tires, higher lift kit, maybe shocks ). Who makes 4,56 gear ratio for JK?
