Default 4.56 Gears

If you guys were to regear your JK, what company or brand would you install? I am running 4.10's and would like to increase to 4.56's. I am not going to increase the size of my tires passed the 35's I am currently running. Just want to bring the RPM's back to OEM. I have a manual transmission.

Just run the 4.88's. You will be happier even though you are only running 35's.

I know everyone will say 4.88 but 4.56 is what is best for me. The best place for those is northridge4x4.com. they have the best price on those. You will pay alittle more for the 4.56 though.

4.88 on my '11 with manual. It is better than stock and still great on the highway. I highly recommend it. We had ours done by Off Road Evolution.

Hey I got 4.56 / 6 speed running 35" KM2's and they are just ok.. If I had to do it again, you could bet the farm I'd go DEEPER.. If your running the "old 3.8" go low . I would go with 5.13 when I regear next time...Really..Listen to what you are hearing..

It really boils down to personal preference. Some folks don’t mind cruising along at 3K RPM, while others (like me) much rather keep it around 2K RPM. Mine has 4.56 with 35” KM2 (manual) and I’m very glad to have gone with this ratio; no regrets at all.

If I'm not mistaken I think nitro is the only manufacturer who makes 4.56 gears for the Jk...I could be wrong though. Anyhow I went with nitro because northridge recommended them and their opinion is good enough for me haha

It's all the same, your just picking what color of box it's coming in

I would go 5.13'a personally you need all the power you can get out of the 3.8
