While Superior does make 4.56 gears, you really want 4.88's with 35's. Trust me, it will bring your ride back to stock performance. But, if you're looking for a bit more pep, I'd recommend going 5.13. At least, that's what I did and my Jeep performed like it had an additional 30HP

The MAN has spoken. WOL won' t steer you wrong. Besides who wants stock performance? You didn't mention your stock ratio, but it really does help to err on the over side. It will help offset all the factors not covered in the gear charts, like the additional rotating mass of the tire, increased wind resistanc eof a wider tire, rolling resistance, and the like.

If you look again, he just did!

if superior is making them, they aren't shipping them. David at Northridge didn't have an ETA when i asked about them on another thread. i've checked with a couple other places & no one has any idea. i email superior almost 2 months ago and was told i'd be getting a response "soon" on a ship date.... i'm still waiting. this sux for me cuz i was anxious to get my hands on a set when i read WOL write up on them.

WOL, you got any idea of when the 4.56s will be released?

the stock 3.73 suc major with only 33s. 4.10s should be OK for 33s but i want a little more power for my 33s and 4.56 should fill the gap without going overboard.

I recommend 4.88 with a manual trans When some one is concerned abought fuel economy .
5. 13 is what I recommend for more power and performance every time.

How much does regearing effect fuel ecomony? I know 35"s will lower power and should cause loss of mileage. Everyone says to re-gear to 4.88 to restore power, but does it help the gas mileage go back up?

I want to upgrade when I move back to the States (in Korea now), but don't know if I will be able to hide dismal gas performance from Household 6.

If 35"s and 4.88 regear is at or near stock then no worries.

Oh, and please excuse my ignorance, 2nd Jeep but I have never done any mods.
