Default 4.7 to our 6 speed

will a 4.7 bolt to our 6 speed tranny or is there a adapter. i dont want a hemi.

i would think it will work with stock chrysler parts, the same 6 speed was used in the 05-08 1500 trucks with the v-6 and 4.7. so im thinking if you had the bellhousing from a 4.7 it should bolt up to our trans. making the swap very cheap, i checked on the 4.7 in junk yards and with low miles there around 700.00 to 1000.00 with harness. and i bet the motor mounts for the hemi jk swap would work for this.

The truck V-6 and the Jk V-6 are totally diffrent !!!! The chances that Chrysler used the EXACT same 6-speed in both are not very good .....

But , If you did your homework and the transmission is EXACTLY the same ....

HELL.......... GO FOR IT !!!!!

This would certainly be worth a look. While a 4.7 is no Hemi, it certainly is a better choice that the weak ass engine we have now.

Also MUCH cheaper.
