4 broken lug studs on one wheel!!
Makes me wonder if someone, at some point over torqued the lug nuts, thus weakening them. Not saying you, but someone else perhaps.
I think the same failure could have just as easily happened with a set of aftermarket wheels with less backspacing than stock wheels. I don't think you can blame the spacers here.

+1 Neighbor guy (Big DUDE) came over one day asking for some help in breaking his lugnuts loose on his saab. I was like
sure I guess, why is it you can't get them loose? Took a 3 foot breaker bar to break them damn things loose. Discount tire over torqued them. And then Discount forgot to torque one wheel completely on one of my cars and I lost 3 lugnuts and the other 2 were just hanging on. So now I break out the ole torque wrench right in front of the store and double check everything. Pisses them off but I prove my point to all their customers when I'm there.

I've done that at Jiffy Lube following a state inspection. My fiancé thinks I'm an overparanoid fool, but I just smiled and told her, I don't care. It's my freakin' Jeep. Screw them! lol
I bought one of those pens you use to mark on currency to tell if they are real or counterfeit. I use to pull it out at the bank teller and mark each bill after they gave it to me. One of my first jobs was working for a bank, and the bank I worked at passed a counterfeit bill to a customer and the customer caught it but the bank blamed the customer for trying to pass it back.
So I just saw this video that teraflex has posted. Any chance that this would have worked the spacer loose and cause the breakage of the studs?
