Default 4 Dr. Duster Cover

Does anyone have the bikini top, wind jammer and duster cover for a 4 door? I would love to see a pic of this set up. Seems like you would have to get the rear half doors to fill in the space.

Just wanted to see a pic. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean about the rear half doors, but here is a few pics of mine. I didn't have any with the windjammer on, but IMO they are a waste of money. A few guys on here have made the wraparound windjammer work on an unlimited, but the regular windjammer doesn't do much.

Thanks man.

I saw one for a 4 door that covers the whole back area when the rear seats are down, maing it a 2 door. But, it was small pic and I couldn't get any good detail on it.

It made if look kind of like a Scrambler.

If you have the former, I;d like to hear what you think of them, is the steel outer decently made and can be painted to a decent finish ?

Cheers

Those are the elements. I am actually on my second set - The first set had some issues and they replaced all four doors and enclosures under warranty. (Although I only asked for one door, they sent me the whole enchillada to make sure everything fit! )

What I think of them... I like them for the most part. They get the job done and are pretty tough. They were a small fraction of buying the Mopar doors, and the windows are wire frame like the soft doors, meaning that they will stack in the back a whole lot more compact than the plastic frames on the stock mopar doors.

The bads -

The handles suck, but I rebuilt one to the point that it is working pretty well so I am going to take off the other three and do the same.

The skins aren't quite as nice as factory doors, even when painted up. I did a lot of adjusting to get them pretty good, but you can still see a few raised places where the metal is warped from welding on the back side.

They don't seal like factory doors. I used the weather seals they sent, but I think if I found some a little taller they would work better. In the end, though, they are never going to totally seal because of the way they are made.

For me, I know their deficiencies and would still buy them again. If Mopar was to come out with a half door kit that was around $2500 I might reconsider, but I still really like the fact that the uppers are as small as they are. The only thing I might do differently is get soft doors all the way around, but I think my wife would veto that.

Many thanks, very thorough answer....I appreciate it. The factory half-doors are way overpriced, these Bestop ones are reasonable.
