With that long of a shock body, you'll have minimal up travel

My 4" Rough Country shocks were fully compressed on stock springs (i test fit them). Even parking lot speed bumps would overly compress the shocks.

I would suggest either lots of bump stops. Or at least some coil spacers until you can put on the 4" springs.

You will have some MASSIVE down travel.

with no lift and that long of a shock, the short up travel will have the shocks bottoming out, won't be able to get that down travel.

Don't forget that with that long of a shock your coil springs might fall out. I say you cycle your suspension with the new shocks and see what happens. I had a 2.5" BB (stock springs) with shocks that were for 6" lift from skyjacker and out worked out great!!!! I did add .75" of bump stop.
