I think dude is inquiring about whether springs from a 4" lift kit will work in a 3" lift kit.

I don't have an answer for either.

Wouldn't that uh, um, just be a 4" lift then. Strange.

All the other components will be fine, but keep in mind, you should replace the shocks w/longer ext. length to take advantage of the 4" lift coils.

Does the 3" lift come with adjustable trackbars? Adjustable control arms? Bumpstops long enough for a 4" lift? Extended brake lines long enough for a 4" lift? Links that are long enough for a 4" lift? The new driveshaft you will probably need?

This^. My assumption was you had a complete kit such as Teraflex 3" kit & were already set-up properly w/driveshafts, ext brake lines, etc.

I think the springs will be squooshed down and limited by the 3 inch lift shocks. You may not get much movement especially with the distance decreased between coils. So no i don't think it would work for wheelin'. Might be fine for rollin down the street with the homies. But if your going cheap you might as well flip your rims and chrome them too.
