40" how too
So your jk with 37's isn't a dog because i know mine on 35 wont even hardly spin in 2wd in mud. You can't expect to ask that question and get the same answer from 20 different people. I will rephrase what i said to appease the projectjk god (you). "If i was going to run 40's i would definately throw in some form of v8 power, that is if renegade will let me spend my money that way.
In all reality you could run 40's on stock driveline if you never wheeled it. My opinion is if you have to ask what it takes to run 40's you probably should either do alot of searching or just stick with 35's.
That was the problem I had with so many of the posts in this thread, not just yours. Yes, I used yours as the example. All we have is a bunch of opinions. The OP was looking for facts. There's only 1 member on this board that I know of running 40's. He would be a good source of info on this topic. I have an Idea of how it could be done, but what's the point...I haven't done it and don't KNOW. As for your earlier post, why would I care how YOU spend YOUR money? It doesn't affect me at all. I just don't like seeing a new guy ask a question and get a buch of stuff he wasn't really asking for that may or may not be accurate.
