44 upgrade
I am in the process of building up a 10 Rubicon and axel upgrades are next on my list. Can you give me some opinions on what I should do and what to look for?
Dana 44 OEM
Gussets (What are Gussets???)
Sleeve’s (Benchmark??)
Axels ( I have seen comments about a “Full Clip”?)
What should I do to the rears?
I am already running the ARB diff Covers.

to answer your other questions:
Gussets (What are Gussets???) = they are added to your axle C's to help prevent them from bending. the factory C's are very weak.
Sleeve’s (Benchmark??) = tubes that get welded into the your axle housing - helps prevent bending/breaking. the factory tubes are essentially weak dana 30 tubes.
Axels ( I have seen comments about a “Full Clip”?) = full circle clips are what you will get on chromoly shafts and they help prevent your u-joints from coming apart - the number one reason for front shaft failure.

how much lift do you plan to run? in my case, ORE coilovers with about 5" of lift. if you plan on a lift near this, i would have the knuckles cut and the pinion rotated a few degrees so you don't end up with d/s vibes along with all the other sleeves and gussets. if you have less lift, than i wouldn't worry about it. just trying to save you a headache like i have
later if you plan on a significant amount of lift. good luck!
