I ran 4.56 and 32's for a couple months knowing that a 33 is where I'd end up. I'm on the 33's now, it dropped about 100rpm in the change. I like it, it's like a mustang around town stop light to stop light, effortless for the motor. On the highway it would be high strung at 80 but I never run that fast, I'm the guy in the far right hand lane doing 60-65. On the trail it's a beast in 4low, for my terrain anyway (florida) so I can't give much thought on the rock crawling aspect of it.

I have the stock 4.10's in my 2007 auto 4 dr Rubi. I went from the stock 32's up to 33's and noticed a difference in power, but it wasnt bad at all. Running 70 on the highway was too low of rpm and o/d would constantly down shift on the lightest up grade. However, I think in a manual this would be the best pkg if you know you arent going to go 35's. I just went to 35's and will do a gear change in the future, prob to 4.88's. I would think there might be a good used market for 4.10's with guys like me upgrading. In fact, pay half for my new gears and I will give you my 4.10s!!!

Thanks for all the feedback. I decided on 4.56's and placed an order yesterday before I could change my mind...

4.88's 6 speed 2 door on 35 inch Goodyear MT's First is a little under geared but other wise I love it. Depending on the tire Co. all 33's are not equal.

I went to 5.13 w/my 33s and ended up getting better mileage on the highway. The stock 3.73 with the 33s was too neurotic in the JK. It was always arguing with itself about what gear it wanted to be in.
