4dr to 2dr spring swap!
I have access to a free set of 17/59 springs from a 4dr jeep
My current springs on my 2 dr are 14/57's I believe. I'm currently on a terraflex leveling kit. If I install these springs, should I keep a spacer up front only? None? All? Also, will I need shocks as well? |
And what kinda lift should I expect....?

I had 14/55's on mine and installed 18/59 with TF 2" in front and 1" in rear running 255's for now and will add 315's....hopefully soon.
Pics next to some stockers for reference. I have never measured. Attachment 633614 Attachment 633615 Attachment 633616 Attachment 633617 Attachment 633618 |

Also, if your tires stick out far enough you might want to cut your flares to flat because they might tear up when stuffed.

You can pick up some cheap rubi shocks. The are better than the sport. I am running them. Would not hurt to get shock extensions if doing some wheeling. The TF kit boast you can run 305's with spacers. Their 2.5 BB comes with extensions for shocks. I am going to keep my set up and probably get get shocks for a lift up to 2-2.5" of lift down the road after I get tires. Very happy with my set up been running it for several thousand miles no problem..with spacers too.

My sport on the left parked next to a rubicon. Replaced my stock springs with 18/58's, rubicon shocks, terra flex leveling kit and 285/70/17 hankooks.
