Thanks for all the replies. FWIW, I NEVER run the 4wd on pavement. I just did a test runt of the 4WD for the snow we're about to get here in the midwest over the next few months, and the "binding" was something I haven't ever experienced before with any of the 4WD vehicles I have owned.

I'll give it a shot on gravel or mud and see if that makes any difference. I didn't know if the lift could have been negatively effecting the drive shaft connection with the front end in some way, and don't want to end up stranded out on the trail, or out in the boonies of Missouri and Arkansas, because of a problem that could be fixed before it became catastrophic.

I'll report back, and thanks again.
