The majority of 'JK' gears have been coming out of the same place in Asia since 2007, with only a small fraction of the gears being made in the US. So don't worry about the name on the box, if there is a problem it is much more likely to be traced back to the installer than to the gears.

I purchased Yukon gears because of their name but once I have read where they were made I became a but skeptical. But that's the reason I asked here on the forum

I was going to buy from them as well. Ended up finding a better deal on Ebay (Drivetrain Parts Las Vegas).. Guy told me JK gears mainly come from:

China
Korea
India?

He said the Korean gears were the best, and everyone just drops them in their own brand box and sells them for their price. Bought 5:38 gears from them with Koyo bearings for $499 shipped. Said it was their premium gears, but their brand. I trusted him. My installer said, they setup perfect right off the bat. Better than the G2 he normally does.

Looks like a great deal, if my jku has 73000 miles is it recommended to replace the bearings when re-gearing?

I have 54000 on mine, and got the master kit with new bearings. I suggest you do the same.

Yep, this is true. Nothing to be concerned about as they are reputable and obviously have fairly strict quality control.

Always go new bearings if you can afford it.
