5.13's d30
I am waiting for my new one piece shafts to arrive. While doing so I'm worried that the 5.13 gear ratio might be wrong for a d30 front end.
Planning on running atleast a 35" tire when everything arrives

all that matters is what gears you currently have in your D30. Your transmission has nothing to due with it what ratio your axles can handle.
With that being said, you have to re-gear the FRONT and REAR together. Doing only one will not work.
If you have factory 3.73s or lower, you can use the same/current carrier and have your 5.13s installed. If you have 3.21s then you will need a new carrier as well the new gears.

The real issue is the size of the ring and pinion thou. The ring on the d30 for comparison example is the size of a softball in size, the ring on a d60 is the size of your head, the d44 is in the middle. 5.13 gears on a d30 is not even going to leave you a tooth touching after the regear. This means as the gears spin that they are barely holding on by a tiny little edge. I would probably only go as high as 4.88 for a d30 myself. Either way you really are giving yourself a weak spot as the ring and pinion by putting tighter gears like that in a d30.

I run 5.13's in my Front D30 with no issues. The rear I have had to replace 3 times in my D44. I run 37 inch tires, with no issues. If you are regearing, dont go with Yukon gears as they blow ass. On 35's I dont think 5.13's are right for your setup, especially with a stick. With 35's I would stick with 4.88's as well, and only 5.13's if you are gonna run 37's.
Why are you replacing shafts to run 35 inch tires??
You only need 2.5 inches to clear the 35's
