Default Is 5/16" close enough when centering the axle?

I was just wondering when centering the axle is 5/16 of an inch close enough?

The Jeep drives great and I have zero issues, I just measured the axle and the passenger side is just at 5/16th of an inch further out than the drivers side.

I do have an adjustable trackbar but wanted to know if that is close enough or should I tighten the Heim Joint?

thx

I keep mine just under a 1/2 inch to the left. (Left tire sticks out more than the right)

I have never had my front drive shaft touch the transmission and we off road regularly.

If you get under your jeep and imagine your axle almost 3/4 of an inch to the left that is how mine is.

No problems, no wear issues.

Everything looks like it is in perfect alignment as far as the drive shafts go... I have zero issues with driveability.

I will likely fix it tomorrow but I was just curious if that was ok...

I actually had the dealership check my alignment to be sure (free

He said the thrust was perfect and that is with the axle where it currently is..
