There are a bunch of JKs with LS motors around here. They are badass!
I think the LS is hard to beat in terms of price/performance/reliability

The Italian WHAT?! Only a MORON would put ANY italian diesel into a vehicle, IMHO. I work with diesels all day, and the All Time looser is of course Isotta Fraschini Motori, of which routinely dissassemble themselves during normal operation. Number 2 on the list is,, naturally, as any deisel mechanic knows, is the VM Motori. Why the person writing this article would even mention the VM is beyond me.
