Default 50" LED Soft Top Issues

I installed a 50" LED across the top of my windshield using the aluminum Poison Spyder brackets. I finally got rid of the whistle...but the soft top now rumbles/rattles from all the wind coming up the windshield and under the 50". I can barely hold a conversation on the highway. Anyone experiencing this same issue?

Have you tried weather stripping the back of the light or adjusting the angle of the light? I really don't have a bad roof flutter so I can't say what would work for you?

I did adjust the light several times. I haven't tried weather stripping. I was thinking about getting a 2 inch x 50 inch wide piece of aluminum and 3m'ing it to my windshield frame hoping to push the air upward a bit more. But wanted to see if anyone else had this issue first before i start trying different things.

Air dams are the most efficient at negating the effects of the wind whistling under the light and attacking the top. It is more easily done when you have a roof rack to secure it to so I would not recommend attaching the dam anywhere other than the light brackets or to a rack

I figured if i put the air dam across the entire windshield and it covers up where the top attaches, i would get 2 benefits... 1: hopefully the roof flutter would go away 2: the air noise that hits the seam would be covered as well. If i do it in a thin piece of aluminum it wont rust and i could paint it to match, making it pretty much invisible.

my 50 inch light bar also does the same with the soft top.. very loud flapping noise .. i heard the the door edge molding works and also ive heard putting 1/4" irrigation hose from home depot/lowes in between the fins on the light helps.. i just took the light off it was driving me crazy..
