Default 5100 front install on a 2012 jk

Hi all, need some info. Ordered the 5100 series shocks for the Jeep. Attempted to install today and it seems the electrical component tray on the passenger side of the engine bay blocks access for the allen wrench when tightening. Anyone have experience with this issue? How did you get around the problem? Thanks in advance.

Do you have access to a Dremel tool? A lot of time people will clearance that plastic fender to get easy access.

Thanks for the quick response. So trim the bottom of the electrical component tray? Just want to be sure before I start trimming away material.

I just used a hammer and chisel. They break cleanly with one tap. Obviously a Drexel would be a good choice too especially of its cold by you and the plastic is brittle.
