Default 5th Gear Grind

All,
Have had my JK for about a year now. 9500 miles. 3"BD running 35's. 5th Gear is starting to grind when I shift from 4th to 5th. Has anyone seen this on your rig or ?

TKS

thanks for the reply,

Guess I need to take a look at the fluid level and change it out with a good synthetic brand. Any other thoughts?

Mine has done it as well from 4th to 5th, but only when I shifted above 75 mph (3.21 gears). Never worried about it too much as it was a rare occourence. With the 35's and 3.21 I rarely use 5th anymore so it has not been an issue for a while. When my dealer has it in for a re-gear I will have them look at it.

Interesting that I am not the only one on the forum whom has had this problem? I am running 5:13 gears so I use 5th quite a lot. Since I am going to do a fluid swap, any prefrences out there?

TKS.
