Default 5x5 to 5x4.5 adapters

has anyone ever used these adapters? Do you think it will be bad to use them? I found a great deal on some wheels that i would like to get but they were for a 2006. 350 for 4 and tires look almost brand new. Some quick help with be great, so i can jump on these before anyone else does. Thanks everyone

I personally would not run spacers when I can get the proper rims. I just don't trust them. Also, many tire places will not mount rims on vehicles running spacers. Just a thought.

Good luck.

I see well the mounting is not a problem my neighbor owns a shop so he wont mind mounting them or well just balancing because i can mount them. Also im on a budget, i would love to get some proper wheels and tires, but being a full time college student, work and baby the 1500-2000 dollars is just not there. Thats why i am going cheap and getting these. Thanks for your input though, i will definately keep it in mind. anyone else have opinions??

I talk to northridge4x4 right now, great guys! They said running the adapters will be fine as long as everything is tighten into spec, i shouldnt have any problems.

With work college and a baby I wouldn't do anything to the jeep until you are out of school. Good deal now, more money fixing later.

I've ran spacers on my jeep (spydertrax) and have never had issues. I also ended up putting the 5x4.5 to 5on5 adapters on my trailer so that I have matching wheels. I've also had adapters on another vehicle and never once had a problem with them coming loose in 5 years. Only thing I will say, is- like someone else stated- some tire shops won't work on your ride if it's got adapters or spacers.
