Default 6' 4"...help needed

Hey everyone, I have a question or two that hopefully you can help me with. I will be ordering my first jeep in the next few weeks (4 dr Sahara) and am already planning mods for it. Problem is that I live in a condo and my underground has a max height of 6'4". Anyone know what kind of lift/tire set up I can squeeze under there? I was hoping to keep something at around a ride height of 6'3" to allow for bumps and such in the garage.

Any advice and/or recommendations are greatly apprecieated.

Thanks guys!!!!

i may be in the same boat my garage door is of normal size but a lift with big tires could cause a problem and we wouldn't want to be parking outside..jeeps have been known to be on a car thefts menu

If your underground is anything like most I've seen there should be what we call in the construction industry 'bong bars' at the entrance. They are horizontal pipes suspended usually on chains at each end to allow some swing to minimize damage to a vehicle or load that contacts it in the event you're too tall to enter. If you own a building with suspended and exposed fire sprinkler pipes you'll understand how a couple hundred $ can save thousands!
That said when you recieve your much anticipated new ride head to the bar and stop under it and measure the clearance. The bar elevation 'should' already take into account bumps etc. if properly installed.
If it helps you at all - with our Unlimited Rubi stock, we keep away if it's posted at 6 feet.

Ya, I could do that but I wanted to order the tires/rims and install them as soon as I got the Sahara so that I could remove the stock ones and sell them as new. Being in Canada I will have to order the stuff and who knows how long that will take.

I wanted to make sure the stocks were in mint shape to sell 'em.

Well I finally got a measurement for you. Best I can tell mine measures 6'3.5" (75.5") from floor to the highest point on the top. It is a hardtop though, and I think the soft top may sit up a little higher than that. I would think that would be too close to 6'4" to be safe.
