6.5 BDS-Suspension
Hey very new to this site and this is one of my first threads. I have a 2008 stock wrangler JK Rubicon 4 door. I have been getting some quotes for getting it lifted and one shop is telling me that BDS is one of the better suspensions. Has anyone used them ( the goods the bads) with the 4.5 short arm or the 6 long arm also if I go with the long arm what exactly is the steering stabilizer? anyway i am looking to put 37's underneath me and was told the 4.5 would fit but the 6 would obviously offer some more flex. any thoughts by any of you guys who drive monsters out there
thanks
mike

the BDS is cheaper than the teraflex for the 6 in long arm

hey welcome.. i have the bds 4.5 with acos pros coilover spacers so i have around 6.5 inches i am very happy with the bds lift... they have a lifetime warrenty so you cant beat that. if i were you i would go for the 6.5 long arm kit.. thats what im upgrading to . a few people on here have it and seem to be happy with it.
Blockrockin, sick rig... you def have the tools to wheel it but have you wheeled it yet? Not being a smartass, I looked in your photo album to see that thing in action and didn't see any action shot... just asking so I know someone that has first hand knowledge of how BDS is on the trail. Price point on BDS is nice just wondering if it is all they hype it up to be
TeraFlex uses OEM style Clevite bushings on the frame end of the lower arms to help maintain a factory like ride. These also cut back on road noise/vibrations. Plus TeraFlex control arms have adj. ends so you can adjust your caster/pinion angles. That is very important to be able to do with a JK. the Flex joints are greasable/rebuildable and quiet. Lower arms are .271 thick with 2" OD. Also the TeraFlex rear trackbar bracket (#1954777)clamps around the rear axle, bolts to the factory location and to shock mount. Nobody has torn one of these of yet. Plus the TeraFlex 6" kits include a forged flip drag link/trackbar drop bracket brace kit (#1600440). This helps strengthen your frame and prevents the TB bracket from tearing off. Lifetime warranty to original owner of the kit. A rear adj. trackbar is included along with a forged front TB. The 6" and 4" are almost the same kit.

they do have a lifetime warranty on parts, but I am guessing if you wheel hard enough to break chit you aren't looking at BDS anyway
