65 PSI In Swamper Irok ND!!!???
Just got a set of 35 x 12.5 x 17 Super Swamper Irok non directional. They came with bright orange stickers plastered all over them stating, "Inflate to 65 PSI". The max load rating molded onto the sidewall of them also states, "At 65 PSI Cold". Anybody else running these? What pressure are you running? Have you played with the pressure, and, if yes, what performance differences are you seeing?

65 PSI is the rating for the maximum pressure the tire is certified to hold safely. It's also the pressure at which the maximum weight rating is attained.
Neither of those things are directly relevant for us Jeep guys. Just an FYI. Carry on.

I ran my tires with 60 one time, but I haven't been able to find many gas stations with air pumps strong enough to fill my tires back up to that. I had no problems running that PSI though. Wouldn't be too good offroad though...

I would never run that kinda tire pressure! I love my kidneys and don't see a need to abuse them that way! That 65 PSI is max pressure for max load. I'd start at 30psi and do done from there when you get a good contact patch and ride.

Exactly! Too many people mount new tires with the air pressure at what they intend
to drive with then complain when the tires loose air. Inflate to 65psi to fully seat the
beads then lower the psi.
