Agree. I have been running 35x12.50's on stock rim for 2 years now with no issues. You should have told him if you can't mount the size I want, I'll take my business elsewhere

I'm running 315/70r17 on my stock (7.5") wheels and they are just fine. I've even had them down to 12psi while off-road without issue. I purchased my tires from Discount and they mounted them.

i would go to another tire shop...i put 35 inch trail grapplers on my girlfriends jeep with the stock wheels without any problems,she has been out there with us wheeling it pretty good aired down to 15psi without incident.

I'll confirm, 3 guys in my club run 315/70/17 on the stock 7.5" wide wheel. Granted we don't air down less than 18 psi because there aren't that many large rocks down in south Florida. But no on has ever come across a problem.

So for everyday driving, what tire pressure you guys running to minimize crowing?

26-28 psi where I run mine

Actually it is easier to roll a bead with a wider wheel...

Tire guy sad he wouldn't recommend installing on a 7.5 inch rim due to risk of rollover. Then pointed to my kids I had with me and said. You gotta be safe with them in the back.

Kinda hit home.
