Default '80 f250 rear axle

a buddy called me Friday and said he knows where I can buy a 1980 f250 that has a D60 (swapped TTB front out) in the front but hes not sure what it is in the rear. I can buy the truck dirt cheap and it runs and drives. does any one know what axle it would have in the rear before I drive 2 hours with a borrow trailer to go look at it? im thinking about buying this truck for the axles, pull the t case motor and trans sell them and scrap the truck which would make the axles virtually free. I have no real need for them at the moment but figured I will build them over time and put them under the jeep when I do need them.

other truck that just came up is a 93 f350, it should have d60's front and rear correct? I am planning to go look at it soon, I know the newer axles are easier to get to work right with the electronics but these are cheap enough it doesn't matter to me I can live with no esp or tcs

1980 should have a D60, but it is probably semi float.

The 1980 should have a full float dana 60. Around 84 is when the went to sterling 10.5. The first ones were semi float. The 1993 will have the sterling full floater. And yes a dana 60 front if it's a f350

From what I've read 80-86 f250 rear 60 or 8.8 is semi float, if it is full float it is a 61 or a sterling 10.25. I could be getting bad info, just what I've read while doing research for myself. Easy enough to verify before buying it. Just make sure it has the hubs sticking out of the wheels.
