Default About to burn the trek top

I recently purchased a used trek top from best top. Its for my 2011 jku. All was going well until the damn header bar. I can not for the life of me figure out how to make this thing flush with the windshield. Its a good inch off from the windshield. I have tried to get it closer by leaving everything unhooked from the back but it still wont come close. Any tips or tricks will be appreciated.

Mine sits back off the windshield some also, I think they all do. As long as it is on the rubber and seals don't worry about it.

I would agree with the above. If you've not had a soft top before, none of them extend quite as far up on the windshield as the hard tops do. This is normal. I presume that is what you are experiencing. As long as it's sealing on the rubber seal you should be good. Snap a picture if the situation is different than what we are thinking it is.

Ok you folks have eased my mind a little. We struggled last night getting the drivers side header knob screwed all the way in. After talking to the wife, she said the passenger side was fine on her way to work but the drivers side was definitely not sealed as wind was coming in pretty hard. I guess ill adjust it when i get off. I will also post pics then if i cant figure it out.

I always bolted the header on first and then moved towards the back.

....until I sold my TrekTop. I f**king hated that thing.

I agree it's probably fine. I just snapped this picture of my trektop nx premium twill. It's been on for about 2 years and I've had no leaks or issues with the header...
