Default About that time....

Hey everyone need some advice. I am thinking of lifting the jeep and running 33. I am between TF 2.5 or OME 2 lift. I am also thinking about getting the JKS disconnects and the JKS adjustable front track bar.

Should i go with TF or OME? I need advice from people who have either!

What TF lift, BB or coil... I run the TF 2.5" BB with JKS quicker disco's and very satisfied. As for the adjustable trac, I wouldn't spend the money at this point. The axle is only going to be 1/8 - 1/4 of an inch off and will be next to unnoticeable. My ride is quite smoothe without the ADJ trac....

I ran the OME lift w/ OME shocks for over a year and really liked the ride and performance of the lift. The OME lift will yield about 3" to 3.5" of actual lift. You will want adjustable track bars. I have JKS discos and from the ones I have had and seen in the past these are the best out there.

Do you recommend adjustable track bars for the front and rear or just the front. I have heard that front is more important than the rear...thanks for your input.

On my JK the front seemed to need more adjustment after the lift, but knowing that the rear was off 1/4" drove me nuts and I had to fix that too.

Yea i could see that driving me nuts too just knowing. Would i need a new steering stabilizer, again i have heard mixed things about needing a new steering stabilizer. OME has a kit that comes with one, would it be worth it to even install it?

You don't need a steering stabilizer at all and for sure won't need a new one with this lift. With the OME lift you may find that your steering is a little flighty. Mine wasn't that bad, but if you are uncomfortable with it you may want a pair of lower control arms to adjust the caster.

Are you running an aftermarket bumper, winch etc.. Can't see profiles so, is yours a 4dr or 2dr... Same with (op)... That needs to be factored into the lift as well when your talking about net gains in height....
