Default ABS problems with 2" spacer kit

I experience a shudder in the peddle while turning sometimes. The dealer says its the lift ( of course) and wants to charge $200 to reprogram computer and disable ABS. Any thoughts? I am still running stock tires.

While turning at speed or like in your driveway? If its 35 mph+ it sounds like your ESP is kicking on, see if the light comes on. You would have to disable the ESP to get rid of it.

x2 - Check to see if yoru steering wheel is straight. It doesn't take much to get the computer out of whack if it is off a little.

Oh - And you can turn off ESP yourself for free.

There's no way I know of to disable ABS. I am trying really hard to figure out why you'd want to do that.

on the '08's there is some sequence that shuts it off. ESP & partial ABS or something like that, I'd have to look it up, it's in the manual.
