Default ABS scan tool

I just upgraded stock brakes in front with Power Stop rotors and pads. After upgrade , my pedal is very soft. I tried bleeding but this did not help. I'm wondering if I have air in the ABS system. Can anyone recommend an scan tool that activates ABS to get the air out. I don't need an expensive one. Thanks

Might want to try a search. I recall reading that activating the abs by going to a gravel lot or something similar, drive a little crazy make it engage, and bleed on the spot. Pretty much get up to 40 or so and slam on the brakes in loose gravel.

I've definitely read another thread about this, I think.

Edit: just saw the other thread where you asked if pushing back the piston was an issue that's how I've always done it never any issues

If you did not crack open any lines near the ABS module, it is very unlikely that you have air in your ABS module. Unfortunately I can not tell you what exactly your problem is, other than I doubt that is your problem.

If all you did was replace pads and rotors, which shouldn't require you to open any lines, you dont have air in your ABS module.
