ABS and Traction control lights on
2013 JKU Sport, 3" lift, 37" wheels, It gets pretty windy here in Central Indiana so driving on the highway is a lot of bouncing around at 55-60. I've had it shut off my cruise during a bumpy ride but never had it also turn on the ABS and Traction control light.. So I figured after a few ignition on and off it would reset the computer. Which it did for a minute then all the lights came back on. Googled it and came back with wheel sensor but I can't find the sensor on the wheel to see if iit came loose.
Anyone? Thanks
Anyone? Thanks
The front sensors are inserted into the unit bearings, and are a bit hidden behind the brake dust shield. There is almost no chance it just "came loose" as they are pretty snug in there and held with a bolt. If you don't have a scanner that can read all the vehicle modules, then you should contemplate a license for the Jscan app and a BT dongle. It's VIN specific so you could only use the license for that once vehicle, but it's a very dynamic tool that would be very useful. You will be able to pull the code from the ABS module, and also see what is flagging in the tranny module if by chance it is bad enough to throw you into limp mode.
