Default ABS / traction light problem after lift

I think I may have stretched the break line / ABS wire during the coil spring install. That is because once I took it for a test drive, the yellow traction light keeps going on and off and the front brake(s) engage. So I went back home and parked it for the night. Too dark to troubleshoot, and I'm sore from crawling around on the ground. The passenger front rotor seems hotter than the driver side. ANy idea what I may have messed up?

Just curious, did you recenter the steering wheel? The JK's computer reads steering wheel position, and if it senses that the Jeep is going straight and the steering wheel is turned, or vice versa, it thinks you're in a slide, and determines which wheel to apply braking to, using the ESP (Electronic Stability something or other...LOL)

X2...sounds like you need to center your steering wheel

Thank you both very much... I woke up today, checked this thread and went out and centered the wheel. All well now. Seems I need to give myself a Darwin award for not knowing better. Last two lifts I did, I test drove, then completed steering wheel centering and recheck all torque specs. I'll know better next time, not used to the sophistication of modern vehicles, more old school than anything.

Glad you got it fixed. And for free! That doesn't happen often on a Jeep. Ha Ha
